A survey first. Then a report.

It depends on whether the damp is rising or penetrating. Once the issue has been identified, we outline a specific solution to eradicate it and email you a report with all actions required.

A full-house survey can take around two hours. Identifying the cause of a smaller issue is a lot quicker.

Rising damp

Rising damp is caused by ground water travelling up through the brickwork. Our primary method is typically installing a new chemical damp-proof course (DPC): injecting specialist solutions into the masonry to create a permanent, watertight barrier that stops moisture migration.

Once the DPC is in, the affected plaster is renewed and the room is left ready to decorate.
